More than 30% hike in Indian students to Spain

Leading Spanish universities are to be found concentrated in the cities of Barcelona and the capital city Madrid.
A hike of over 30% has been reported in the number of Indian students going to study in Spain. This increase is much more than that seen for other popular study abroad destinations.
Indian students headed towards Spanish universities usually belong to the Indian states of New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, and West Bengal.
With universities in Spain offering courses in English as well as Spanish, Indian students do not have to contend with the language barrier.

There is no dearth of job opportunities globally, as by the time these Indian students complete their course of study they are quite conversant in Spanish as well. Spanish is the official language of 20 countries.
